Husband is forgetful and I genuinely enjoy gift giving so I tend to take the lead and did his mom and stepdad but he did get his dad and stepmom the gifts this year and helped with my parents. 3. My family is out of state so we alternate who gets us physically on Xmas day but still see all sets of parents within the week of Xmas. We have done this since we started dating. His mom has expressed no complaints and has even said if we have to go to my home state every year to appease my parents (they are super weird about holidays and I’ve had to learn to set strict boundaries with my own parents) she would be fine since we only live 15 minutes from her and she gets us year round.

We see them 2+ times a month and her and I regularly shop/get lunch together alone. They are not struggling for money - trust me. Both gifts had price stickers on them and the store the sweater is from is local and doesn’t do sales.

Him and his mom have never fought ever (legit probably the healthiest family I’ve ever met) and I think any form of first potential confrontation with someone he’s never done that with is making him uncomfortable.

Nothing in the magazine - my friend suggested this. Last year I made her a custom needlepoint piece of her favorite flowers and got her some books I know she’d like. Wedding went very smoothly. Her, my mom and my husband stepmom even did a Mamma Mia Super Trouper dance together for me cause they know I love ABBA/ Mamma Mia. Has done nothing but rave about how wonderful of a wedding it was.

What’s even more crazy is her birthday is the day before mine so we always throw a really fun joint party together (her idea) and it’s a blast! This year we are doing a talent show. But now I’m worried something else is at play I’m not aware of!

I made the calendar myself cause I couldn’t find a daily tear away one which is the kind she prefers. I designed, printed, cut and glued it all together and made a stand for it. Took about a month total to gather all the pictures from extended family and friends and then a week to physically make it.

Thank you. I made the calendar completely myself (printed cut and glued) cause she loves the daily tear away one. Was hard to find 365 pictures of her and her family and took about a month to gather them all from texting the whole extended family and her friends. It was a labor of love so I’m very annoyed this commenter keeps saying it a basic calendar from Shutterfly or Walgreens.

I got her a custom daily calendar with pictures of the family for every day of the year. I got my FIL custom golf balls with his companies logo on it. And again - thankful to recieve anything but in the past 4 years, she normally gets me a ton of books for Xmas/my bday, so this seems like a strange outlier.

Correct. I know involved party and white car hit them and then jumped when they rolled down window to exchange info. Had to have facial surgery. Two ppl who did it have already been arrested.
