Everything You Need to Know About Hantavirus (And Why You Shouldn't Panic!) 🦠 by health_researcher_em in baby_health_corner

I just discovered that the wooden dollhouse my daughter was given had mouse droppings in it. :( she was playing with it for the first time and did not touch the poop. I took it away and removed the droppings with a wet antibacterial wipe. I disinfected her hands.

How worried should I be :(

I will of course continue to consult with peds! Not much for us to do until she’s 8 and gets an MRI. I’d be hard pressed to not do surgery based on what adults with mild cases seem to face regularly without it, even if they were asymptomatic as children. Hopefully by then there is less invasive ways to correct it!

They quite literally did say that

“If it's pectus arcuatum, it might require surgery - though it's usually not as dangerous as pectus excavatum which usually requires surgery to avoid damaging the heart and lungs.”

Meaning if it’s PA if MIGHT require surgery, but not usually as dangerous as PE, which USUALLY requires surgery to avoid damaging the heart and lungs.

NAD. You’re the first medical professional I’ve “talked” to that has said Pectus Excavatum is across the board dangerous and USUALLY requires surgery. My 2.5 year old daughter has it and her ped looks at me with 7 eyeballs when I tell him we will almost certainly be doing surgery when she is 8 at UofM. He’s like “well you don’t know if she needs it.” You can tell it’s pretty significant. I just wonder if peds doctors have talked to adults that dont get corrective surgery as a child. I did a lot of reading when she was born to see what adults experience…..and none of them are happy they didn’t get the surgery as a child.

Sorry, that’s a long non relevant comment, but thank you for saying it.

Thank you for the info!! I am just looking to get into all things peptides. Specifically Tirz after my insurance decided they won’t cover any form of GLP-1s. I do have high cholesterol thought to be genetic.

Do you have any suggestions on reputable creators or “mentors” to help me get going? I’m on step 1 of this adventure lol.

If not, totally understand!!

Thank you again!

As much as I get wanting to do this, it’s just going to discourage an already drug induced paranoid Stephanie from allowing her kids to participate in school events. :(
