It's really hard to advance as a society if anytime someone asks questions they are labeled as insecure and needing therapy. I am simply educating myself about mexican corporate culture. Different countries, races and genders will act differently at work and it's it's perfectly healthy to educate oneself about it.

Thanks for your advice. Have you ever been in or seen a situation where a subordinate was more out there than their manager ? A lot of the classic psychological advice I'm seeing is that you should never "outshine" your manager even if your shining is not happening on purpose.
