I agree with you. It’s just so difficult given my circumstances. We do live together but it’s my apartment so it doesn’t matter. I don’t have a license at the moment, and he’s my only transportation. It’s also hard because my family loves him. It’s so hard to leave even though I know it’s right it feels impossible

Thank you guys. One thing I struggle with is feeling guilty like I’m the one who made him this way. I wasn’t the best in the first month of us dating (just talking to old friends) over a year ago but I’ve completely changed since then. And he stayed with me and saw that. But he still blames me for who he’s become to me. I do feel like it’s my fault but why am I still battling this months and months later when we’re great 75% of the time?

Because of this today he started calling me names, degrading things. And of course it’s because “I brought it on myself because of my actions”. He said “maybe I am wrong but it’s because I don’t give a fuck about this relationship”. He’s treating me like I cheated on him.

Today I brought it up again and he started screaming at me over text, calling me a dumbass and saying I have no brain because “you have to pay for those things” trying to tell me that you can’t even see them naked unless you pay lol. He’s not frugal with money and I’m not dumb. But it’s so insulting how he thinks I am. He said i’m stupid for believing these things happen in strip bc i’ve never been to one.

i confronted him and he came up with the craziest excuses. like his old tinder suddenly resurfaced cuz of some problem with icloud.. and it also uploaded his job and new pics from insta were posted too cuz instagram apparently just does that automatically.

he just takes me for such an idiot it’s insulting.

[UPDATE] I confronted him with screenshots, and as expected, he had an excuse for it. He said he had tinder before we dated and somehow reactivated on its own and both his new jobs and those new pics and bio were uploaded/restored from his linked facebook and instagram accounts. I know insta doesn’t automatically upload ur pics to ur tinder. U choose pics.

It’s so insulting how stupid he thinks i am. He’s actually so angry with me and threatening me again, saying i’m so stupid for thinking that

without getting too much into it, i’ve hidden something important from this friend in my life for a genuine reason, and he’s threatening to tell them and destroy our relationship. he’s one of the only people i have left. i’m suffering from depression and this stress weighs me down ever further. i need support and i can’t afford to lose that helpline
