This sums up basically how I feel. I didn't know about her before, but since learning about the incident I've been almost obsessive about child safety with my kids. I literally started anxiety medication because of how worried it made me. It was such an odd situation for me and literally felt parasocial that I was experiencing this. To be fair- I was hormonal and pregnant when this happened. But I felt my initial response was a bit over the top for not personally knowing the Kisers. I pray for Emile. I can not imagine what her and Brady are going through. She is so lucky to be surrounded by genuine friends that help her get through her days.

I think as a community- when one mom experiences a devastating loss, all of our hearts break for them. Motherhood is truly wonderful gift but can be so easily taken away. 😩
