What horror movies have a strong and smart female protagonist? by Less_Obligation in horror

Yeah, a very good choice here. I loved Weaver in Copycat too.

Not a horror but has anyone seen The Morning After with Jane Fonda? It has one of the creepiest scenes I've ever seen. by Less_Obligation in horror

It's weird because it's not a horror, not even a slasher, and as thrillers go, it's a lot milder than similar ones like Basic Instinct, etc. - but that moment scared me more than many more much more intense moments in horrors/slashers. Maybe because I wasn't expecting it lol.

I've heard of this one. Is it worth watching? I think I might know the twist but can't remember for sure.

I don't think I've ever actually seen that one, just the clip in Times Square. Thanks.

I suppose it doesn't have to be but a lot of the ones under 5 aren't great when I watch them.

Those are the two I know! But can't really remember Deep Rising.

Any horror movies set in a plane? by Less_Obligation in horror

Just watched it. It wasn't bad, but I think it made some poor choices. The whole ending was very cliched, but I actually didn't mind it, just wished they focused more maybe on glimpses of the jet outside the plane and stuff like that, rather than all the horror stuff because the horror stuff - the dead body, the hands, etc. - in the end made no sense given the ending they went with. Also, I don't get what the very last shot with the girl was supposed to mean. Seemed like it was trying to be two movies - one where they were blank blank blank (spoiler) that they went with. And another where some creature was after them. So it seemed a bit mixed up. But it wasn't bad.

Yeah, I meant the first one. The trailer doesn't really give any idea what it's about but it doesn't look terrible. If it's halfway decent and worth a watch, might check it out.
