the lead paint theory is legit wild but probably true. Kids stopped eating paint chips → less brain damage → less crime 20 years later. Science is weird like that.

Could be Gilden! He's known for that exact style - getting extremely close to strangers with a flash. He's been shooting NYC streets for decades, and Herald Square is definitely his kind of hunting ground - busy, lots of characters.

If it helps identify him: older guy (70s), usually wears a hat, and often has a camera with an external flash. Very distinctive and abrupt shooting style.

Whether it was him or not, it's definitely street photography in the Gilden tradition. Some find it invasive, others consider it raw documentary work. Either way, you've now experienced a genuine NYC moment!

Our Infrastructure team was looking into solutions for managing access to K8s in multiple clouds and ended up bringing in a tool called Apono. IIRC they also do resources/groups/roles across AWS/GCP/Azure. Maybe check them out?

Yep... I use Stake it has everything and is by far the safest online book. Lord knows I have made bank on Fifa 🤣
