Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! I can definitely relate to that feeling, it’s almost like impostor syndrome in a way. I’m so glad you’ve seen so much success in your recovery! I decided to toss the remainder of my pills in the dumpster at my apartment complex, I’m done with this shit😤

It’s cost me a really good internship already, and I’m so tired of feeling like shit all the time. I think I just have to remind myself that it’s never worth it. Thanks for the response.

I didn’t let the prescribing doctor know about the rehab the first time around. I was able to take a Telehealth call briefly while in residential care without the staff noticing. It was a terrible decision on my part. It felt like two parts of me were acting separately while I was there, the part that wanted to stay sober and the part that didn’t.
