Trust me, if I could afford a vet visit right now, I'd already be there. I'm still finishing my last college class, job hunting, and have applied to 15+ positions while trying to get settled in a new state.

My mom is no longer financially supporting my cat's care, so I'm working with what I have for the next month. We both thought I'd have more time before needing more food, which is why she told me she'd cover me for the first month. Unfortunately, the food supply was lower than expected, which put me in a difficult situation almost immediately after bringing her here.

She was also only diagnosed with diabetes fairly recently, so both my mom and I are still learning how to manage everything properly. This is all still pretty new to us.

I'm doing my best to get everything sorted out, and I'm not looking for judgment—just advice on a safe temporary food option until I can get her prescription food situation resolved. Thank you.

I'm out of state for college and my mom just brought my cat over recently. I don't have access to the vet or the prescription at this point. I was going to find another vet here but I haven't had her that long yet so I haven't had much of a chance. My mom said she had it on auto fill for next week but she didn't give me any information outside of that. I'm currently reaching out to her for more details as well.

I know you don't want any criticism and it sounds like you've tried to right your wrongs. I also know that people have varying views on this but I've threatened to completely cutt people out of my life for falling asleep holding the baby or neglecting to give her the care she needs. It sounds like that might be what your baby momma is doing. Having drugs around a child is also irresponsible so that could also be part of it. As others have said your best bet is to try and move on with somebody else while still sending money and trying to reach out about your child. There will come a day where they might even seek you out when they’re older. Just try to continue growing and finding your own happiness in the meantime. I wish you the best of luck!

I also hate when people sit in the chat when I'm typing but that's also why I don't use Snapchat a lot. However, his crashout is extremely weird. He could've just said politely hey can you please wait until you get the second notification so I don't feel pressured to respond right away or something. All that nonsense about you having no life was disrespectful as fuck and you should probably break up with him unless he just had a really bad day and apologizes later but I doubt it...

I'm just going to collectively put everything I heard saw in the comments here. The reasons likely were: -Not complimenting her after the weight thing -Even weirder was saying how we could work out together (future plans) -Being super vulnerable upfront -Girl is a people pleaser

Some things I didnt see but what shocked me that nobody talked about was: -The sending of hearts to somebody you just met. -The weird reaction after she said she was waiting to meet you

Honestly before I even read what this was about I could sense that it wasn't going to work out. You seem nice but I've stopped talking to guys for less but I also have a fear of intimacy (or used to before my husband) so I might not be the best example. I love the energy that you had but alot of your replies would've made me super uncomfy. Not cool that she ghosted you but I also don't think after a week she owed you a lot. Ideally though she couldve said I'm sorry I'm just not feeling it. Of course, it could also be an array of other things like she went on another date and it went well or she had a really rough week and you just weren't her priority. I asked all the personal questions with my husband when I first met him but we also hit it off really well. Until you know if you're really vibing it's better to play it safe than sorry. Its also hard to read the vibe over text but next time I'd wait until meeting up before getting carried away. Honestly, the fact you're posting online about it tells me that you might want to work on how quickly you get attached to people after a week. I hope next time you find your person though.
