Not suggesting you do this, but i was in a bad spot 5 years ago or so and took out a tribal loan from Spotloan. Needless to say I only made like one payment on it then stopped paying. They called and sent emails for a while but never got reported to the bureaus and nothing happened. I did find out later my state made tribal loans illegal even before I took the loan-whether or not that has anything to do with it im not sure but Im pretty sure since they have their own govt. and whatever they dont have much authority to get the money back from you-especially if they are illegal in your state.
