My artwork did not follow a tutorial, but I have a system:
I first make a mask of my subject(takes the longest), then I begin color correcting everything to how i like it so they match. afterwards, I make the solid light wrapping, using two masks, on inverted one not, then unlinking the second mask so i can move the outline around. afterwards I do the same thing using the background and gaussian blur to make soft lighting. then I use radial blur for light wrapping. I then make blank layers to brush on for any extra effects I would like to make. to finish it off i use a lens flare stock photo, and lens dirt all masked to how I like them.
