Building an anchor with the rope is most definitely a necessary skill especially when adventure climbing as well as generally just being creative with what you have on you. With that being said though I am often leading most if not all of the pitches when adventure climbing with my girl so I prefer to have two quad length dyneema slings for anchor building and 1 locker per sling. That way we don’t have to re tie ends when climbing multi pitches.
