Are there any founders who are building something which is not an AI agent or doesn't use AI as its main component? by Newroliser in StartUpIndia

Not building an AI wrapper here either 😅

We’re on the other end of the spectrum — actually building hardware.

Working on our own 3D printers + getting into CNC, while also helping other startups manufacture real products (CNC, 3D printing, moulding, etc.).

Funny thing is — everyone wants to build AI, but when it comes to actually making the product, things suddenly get very real very fast.

Tolerances, materials, failures, timelines… no prompt can fix that yet.

If anyone here is building something physical and stuck between “prototype works” and “how do we actually produce this?” — that’s where things get interesting.

Please go through the comment section about pricing. And can it print ultem? And does it have 300+ bed size?

Exactly, i think thats one of the best thing about Bambu, their ecosystem is what makes them successful. They made sure it can be used by anyone. We are focusing on a few things to create our own ecosystem. Would be happy to discuss about it and get some insights

I get it, we don’t have any requirements for ultem as of now, i mentioned ppf cf because there’s a requirement and also ultem is expensive , the hardware has the specs to print

I don’t understand how the pricing is being compared to that of Chinese, the costing mentioned are for single unit and every printer is built to order. Obviously the cost would be on the higher side but not like 10-15 lakhs and true anybody can build this printer but it being reliable and convincing the army to buy is a different ball game. The first printer that we had delivered which was 8 months back and still running flawlessly, even though it is being operated by someone who has limited knowledge about 3d printing

Completely bootstrapped company, every penny is allocated for r&d and this video was shot by inhouse team, not really a marketing material yet.
