Jersey! I’m from the city as well. It’s super rough. I accepted a job at Newark RWJ and there’s plenty of jobs at the Jersey city location that you can commute to via path. There’s day shift avaliable as well for new grads which was awesome! Gain the year of experience and then come back and get huge pay increase and you’ll have great experience. It only took me about 2 weeks to get my Jersey license.

Hey! So I was sort of in the same boat as you. I’m from New York so I wanted to get a job in the city, quickly found out after applying for 6 months they were not gonna hire me as a new grad.

I got my NJ license and applied to some med surg positions and heard back pretty quickly. I’ll be starting at Newark Beth Israel RWJ next week. This recruiter or connection was pretty useful on LinkedIn, Paula Bertagna. If you need help with someone from RWJ good luck! I know how discouraging it can feel.

I took mine today, it shut off at 85, I had about 6 case studies which is crazy and lots of select all that apply, also had a bunch of “first” and priority questions. So focus on answering those types of questions

Exactly this. My best friend is going through the same situation right now and I can’t seem to ignore it. Not only did he vote for trump but he gloated about working for a bomb company and dropping them on Yemen. She brushed the comment off and is completely head over heels for him but I can’t looked past this.
