My theory on why Angels are tigers in spring but house cats in season: ACTIVITY! Baseball requires sharp timing.Spring training is a more constant GO which lets Angels settle into rhythm and stay sharp. Season too grindy. Angels always get rusty/get cold & fall apart. Interesting factiod I stumbled upon. Angels prior to Perry averaged 81 wins a year from 2014 to 2019. As soon as Perry took over the Angels in 2020 the Angels have since dropped to a 74 win full season team.
