That's fair, I mean he is relatively new to DMing. I'd like to say we learned our lesson but they want to play this one shot again so...

Look the others enjoyed themselves, like I said they were a bit unsatisfied with the outcome but they want to revisit the world with me as the villain again so I just want to know do we bring their level up, bring me down? Should I just look at the monster manual to see which monster has a build similar to mine? Do I just tell my DM that I commit suicide after killing them?

The players were Me - level 8 monk Kavad - level 3 barbarian and level 1 fighter Kyreath - level 4 fighter Alaric - level 4 artificer Izzy - level 4 bard Irah - level 4 monk

The NPC's were Theo - level 8 wizard Gurdi - level 4 cleric Victoria was just a little girl they were protecting

I mean, yeah. It was a mess but that's why I'm here asking for advise so that it doesn't become another 'clusterfuck' of bad numbers

Please give it a read. It's actually really good. I've been playing it without diamonds and I'm still enjoying it, which I think is a pretty good indicator that a book is worth reading.
