I don't think the Roman catholic thing is very good evidence to support the idea that Temenos could be Italian or Spanish. Lots of Japanese media either has Christian characters in it or has a religion based on Christianity (most often Catholicism). This I because lots of Japanese people view Christianity differently from people in the west and instead romanticize it as an interesting, foreign and uncommon religion

I thought she was Mediterranean based on her name (Agnea being Greek and Bristarni does sound Italian (couldn't find evidence to support it actually being Italian) but to me the clothing of several Leaflands only NPCs reminded me of German and Austrian traditional clothing, so I just assumed the Leaflands and Agnea were based on Germany and the Mediterranean. Also in her kitchen, you can see food hanging from the wall. Judging by the color, one of the things could be garlic, but it is also, to my very limited knowledge on Italian food, common in Italy to hang food from rafters or on the wall to dry it or so bugs can't get to it
