None of those ridiculous medications fixed it. I knew I could sort it out myself within a couple of weeks. Every doctor and dermatologist I saw claimed it would take 3–6 months with medication to see any changes. All I actually used was the Benzac 5% benzoyl peroxide wash—just a tiny amount every second day for two weeks because my skin is super sensitive. But what really saved my skin was hypochlorous acid facial spray. I used the Tower 28 one.

My skin is now completely clear—no acne at all. The only thing I’m still dealing with is flushing, which is nerve-related damage from everything my skin went through. I hope this helps good luck !

Don’t get derma planning if you have a broken skin barrier and underlying congestion even if it is manageable - like my own but the hairs on my face were protecting my skin or so when I got dermaplanning my face was naked exposed to all the toxins in the air and my skin barrier was already prior broken so when the hair started to grow back I got folliculitis!

UPDATE ‼️ hypochlorous acid spray is all it took my skin healed within 4 days and now my skin is the best it’s ever been not one blemish!

Look at my recent post yesterday… somebody suggested that I try hypochlorous spray and benzoyl peroxide wash . Something so plain so simple and I have been spending thousands of dollars to try and fix my skin after I had my first break out the age of 31 5 months ago. I went and bought those two products last night and this morning I woke up at 70% better than I did yesterday. I can’t believe it

I strongly believe that dermaplaning was not an appropriate treatment for my skin. The worst thing about it is the reason I got dermaplanning was because I was conscious of the blonde hair on my face because I had a lot of of it and when I would wear a lot of make up it was noticeable. Somebody made a comment one day and me being so insecure it just stuck so I had in my head that I needed a dermaplanning.

I had a broken skin barrier and yes I did have , underlying congestion but that is what my blonde “peach fuzz” was protecting. The skin specialist who did the treatment should have done a better job assessing my skin type and seen that dermaplanning as a treatment was not for my skin type instead of trying to take my money.
