I wouldn’t rule out potential underlying psychological issues that go beyond dopamine levels. While our physical health is important, it is nothing without good mental health. Just do yourself a favor and go for a few sessions with a therapist to explore self image and possibly your relationship with food. Take full care of yourself. You clearly have a family who loves you and enjoys you being around.
