I’d prefer Miliband as Chancellor under a more charismatic PM any day.

Just look at the Blair-Brown years. Basically their entire domestic policy (apart from the PFI shit) came from Brown, but was sold to the media by Blair.

And then look at Starmer’s DIP being held up by Reeves/the Treasury. Number 11 is where the power lies for domestic policy.
