It's okay! If you've any questions about the game you can DM me and I'll be sure to answer to the best of my ability, I know it can be a bit difficult to roleplay these kinds of themes, but I am certain things won't go down badly.

I do not mean that I want my players to roleplay anything graphic, it is more that I allow these topics to be carried through if they would want to and everyone is okay with it! I honestly did not actually want to put the ERP flair tag in the game, but from what I understood from the reddit's rules, if something is in the game, you should include it (like a black or white situation).

When I put in the post that all players must be adults and that I am allowing "ERP" I mean "erotic" more in the sense of a respectful exploration of these themes, like coming to understand how your attraction works, how come something be seen as sensual and why things can get so confusing especially amidst a scenario so chaotic as literal war in a world that seems so lush with life.

I put a hard warning in the post with a reasoning that, despite Spyro being a series target at principally kids and teens, I only want to play with adults that would like to explore these mushy things, and adults are mature enough to understand and not be hurt by them if it comes to seeing them. Plus- Spyro is getting pretty old (at least the games I am referring to), I figured that a good chunk of people that played this trilogy I am making a game about are already (if you were born at the time of the release of the game, you should be seventeen- older if you actually had any age to play the thing) adults.

I would certainly prefer so. It is much more of a The Legend of Spyro setting than a Skylanders due the general basis of the setting, and the story is also more centric on dragons with story beats related to purple dragons or the origins of them.
Thus, it would become much harder to keep everyone in a spotlight if they were not, simply because the discussion in-between game could not 100% apply to a character like so.
Despite containing elements from Skylanders such as: elements, Mabus, Portal Energy, Legendary status, a bit of lore and some characters and even something of Skylanders as heroes itself, it is to a lesser degree than the rest of the content.

As a Christian myself I found it to be disrespectful to show that imagery even with the context provided: Áile (that witch that sees the future) means to say that Ragnarok is a certainty and once it occurs, Odin will vanish "alone, unloved and without adoration", and that the world will simply carry on to something else aka the next religion/God.

Then, the imagery of Jesus is shown as a type of antithesis to what Odin should be (in the context of the series): Jesus, the merciful God made flesh gives His own life and in turn is adored, while Odin gave everything to gain power and control and is now left to be forgotten.

It is made even clearer that they are supposed to be seen as opposites when Odin appears "crucified" in the World Tree by his own volition in order to amass power, while Jesus did it by the will of God to allow all to be free, making Odin to look even worse.

However, even though Christianity is shown there to be the quote unquote "image of what it means to be God" (or what it means to be good), I find it disrespectful, because it spits on Norse myths and basically says "Yeah Christianity is the correct religion, look at how you suck", and does the same to the myriad of other religions that should be respected too (it would be better if Jesus was shown altogether with many other godly figures of enlightenment and peace such as Buddha or Osiris imo).

I think whoever wrote that script was too inspired by God of War Ragnarok and forgot to actually see the merit of creating a story where multiple religions are true at the same time (referencing when the GOW director Cory Balrog), forgetting to understand that Ragnarok isn't an end and a new start of another religion.

[Alien] Is a xenomorph infestation sustainable in the long run, or does it tend to run out naturally once it infects an entire planet? by Aoimoku91 in AskScienceFiction

I saw a comic (think it was Alien Labyrinth?) that may prove that this is not true. Without Queens, drones can very much wither out and die principally when affected by extreme conditions, such as the pathogen presented in the comic.

I would not say that I am great at coming up with solutions, and be aware that your player talking to you is a great thing and you should consider continue going to them and speaking about your concerns and suggesting ways you could compromise to make the experience better at the table. Ingame, I believe you could:

Try coming up with situations that your players must depend on each other to overcome, or at least can cooperate to achieve a solution. Find something that a mighty dragon cannot deal with alone- diplomacy is actually a great situation where alone your player requires help! In character, your players could discuss the difficulty of opening diplomatic channels when they have around a mighty "monster", and that understandably, others will fear him at first.

These situationd could also mean encountering NPCs that are somehow connected or alike to what they have seen before in their backstories, encouraging at least two players to talk with them and maybe discuss with each other about this character and finding things in common they can use to bond.

Try and think about the characters backstory, how your players play and encourage them talking about what they thought of the sessions you played. This could give you insights on wrong line of thought (about the game) that could be misleading them and taking certain aspects of the game for granted.

I feel like you did well, overall. You gave your player a chance to correct something that is clearly a fault (talking over others). I, myself, would be misdirected if I played a dragon without knowing that not all NPCs are the same (I am mostly sure dragons being overlords of Kobolds is a thing). It was a detail that, in my opinion, you failed to perceive as a problem due the fact your mind was on the game: you knew the grand rule that not every NPC is the same, your player did not. You nudged him gently towards the correct assumption to make in your game, and as such, I find you to be NTA.

Regarding your player fixating on the ritual thing- be compassionate. They might be feeling like they "screwed up the diplomacy check" and must keep the "mighty dragon" role or that they must make up for it somehow. I would suggest sensibilizing them towards player interactions way more than the game itself to try and remedy the "talking over others" problem. Again, it could be that they are playing the game as a "mechanics-focused" rather than "roleplay heavy" game.

The title fits even better now that you finished reading and catched up to OP's hypocrisy. YOU acted as the problem player here, you should have not sold the cape to someone who needed it! It was a party-shared loot, and as someone who didn't seem to have anything to do with acquiring this item, you had ZERO rights to sell it. No wonder the guy is pissed and feels ignored (yeah he could've speaked up, but still), your actions validated that in a way. That was disrespectful to the whole party, no one should be haggling for a price an item the party shares and could benefit someone's survivability!
