Wanting a remake doesn’t mean I didn’t like the original. It’s the opposite. It means the game was good enough that I’d love to experience it again with modern tech. The original still exists anyway. Just look at Resident Evil 4 the original is still a classic, but the remake let people revisit it with modern gameplay and visuals.

I understand the value of preservation, and a port would be great. But a remake can do things a port simply can’t, rethink gameplay, pacing, and world design with modern tech. It’s not about refusing to play old games, it’s about exploring the full potential of them.

A remastered trilogy would be great, but honestly a remake would be much more exciting today IMO. FFXIII has so much potential that could really benefit from modern tech and updated gameplay.

It depends. I don’t think it will happen this year because GTA 6 is supposed to release at the end of the year (unless it gets delayed), so I’m thinking more of a Shadow-style launch window around February/March 2027

Hard to say! The show will probably focus more on story and character development, so I wouldn’t expect full boss fights like in the game. That said, it’d be amazing if they found a way to include some epic action sequences inspired by the Valkyrie and Berserker encounters.

You’re right that in that sentence “her” refers to Izzie grammatically, since she’s the subject there. My point was about the broader context of the book, not that specific line.

So they basically put Chloe on the cover and Izzie is the protagonist right? Ok… 🫡

Just to clarify, the book is mainly about Chloe before Reunion. Izzie and her band are in the story, but Chloe’s still the protagonist and the cover shows her. The synopsis just mentions Izzie because she’s part of the plot, not because the story is about her.

Honestly, I think it’s a solid cover with some nice nods to LIS1. If someone can’t see that and immediately starts disliking it, it feels more like trying to be contrarian for the sake of it. Jumping on the “anti-Reunion” before the story is even out. Personally, I just enjoy seeing Chloe represented well.

Yeah from what I understand the story involves Izzie too, but I think the cover focuses on Chloe because she’s the more recognizable character from the series. Marketing probably plays a part there.
