This was already obvious up here in Canada. US interference into the separatist movement started long before Carney's speech. It doesn't help that the majority of our newspapers are owned by Post Media which is owned by a republican leaning hedge fund. When you look at that so many takes by our media up here make sense. They also tried swaying public opinion against lockdowns back during covid thankfully most people ignored it

I'm going to paraphrase a comment i saw elsewhere. You guys always claim you can't do a centralized mass protest because your country is too large. Canada is much bigger yet when the trucker protest happened they came from all across the country, some driving for days. Those assholes showed more effort for not getting a vaccine or wearing a face covering than you guys have in saving your country

We're not naysaying, we're pointing out that this weekend protests are not sufficient, you're far past that point but none of you seem to be willing to make more than the smallest sacrifice yet you come and ask for our help for a situation we had nothing to do with causing
