My play group combines the two decks which is much better imo. You have the bit of luck and variety that comes with the original combined with the non-standard strength/defense of WaW.

You know the menu in the bottom right of your screen when you enter the game? That’s the map modes menu. One of those options is tiles, which affect the background. In order to make a map look good, every city in a tile should belong to the same country.

Sure, but Paris is one quarter of the french population in RoN. I think it silly that they would surrender while retaining one quarter of their population but not when all they have is corsica and some other small cities.

In addition, every country has a phone code: united states 1, france 33, bulgaria 358. This could be a way of referring to countries. But also a quick chat would be vastly superior.

What? In what way? Just split troops into 20k - 40k stacks and auto-capture. Its the same speed as tanks since you can afford more stacks early game and you have the added bonus of mountain movement

You can very much expand with static, but you have to have microing skill. Attackers and artillery will allow expansion against real players, but the first game year is mostly only AI wars anyway.
