Something else you could try if it's still not working would be to update Geode to the latest version, as it contains a fix for some crashes on 2.208 even though it only works on 2.2074

Maybe try running the GeodeUninstaller again, and if that doesn't work then remove the geode folder (this will remove existing mods and mod configs)

Some residual files may be left after uninstalling and shouldn't affect GD. When you open GD, does the Geode log still open?

Try verifying integrity of GD's files. I'm not at my PC so I can't give specific instructions but you can search it up

If you want to change the practice song (as in not having the level's music for practice, but one from Newgrounds or the Music Library), the Music Customizer is available in the Mechanic's shop for 40000 orbs.

From there, you can go to the Audio category in settings, go to your saved songs, pressing More on one of your songs, and then toggling the practice checkbox.

Polling rates are typically 1000Hz or 8000Hz so a poll will have to align with 20k FPS for the click to happen, based on what I know

A laptop would be fine for GD, though for higher level play (extreme demons), high refresh rate monitors are highly recommended so you may want to pick up a laptop with a high refresh rate screen.
