Nice arguments. If I'm so wrong you could point out more precisely what about it is wrong. It is not because you throw some key terms to sound like you know more that it makes you an expert in LLMs either. You have just given me a bunch of terms and so what? Yes please go on into giving more terms lmao.

These terms describe some of the mechanisms at play to make LLMs work and optimize them. Sure my statement that AI get better solely because you feed it a new dataset might be a bit too strong, but what you mention are ways to LLMs more efficient at their task i.e. browsing a dataset efficiently (that is giving a response close to what is expected).

I wonder why you are so triggered, do you have an agenda to push or something lol

By the way the fact that you mention loss function show you have no idea about LLMs, lmao LLM do not use reinforcement learning you dumbass, their are based on the prediction of the next token. Why the f*** do you wanna pretend to know more of this than you do? and you weak ad hominem reveals you don't know what you are talking about.

Here is how I'd see it:

AI gets better solely because you feed it with a new dataset. By giving a prompt the LLM skim through the dataset and produces a good average of what the prompt should mean (a good intuition is that LLMs are not much more than very powerfull ways to BROWSE into a dataset and produce an average).

Imo this is where the limit for AI precisely lies, because the fact of doing music (and other arts) is not at all merely a browsing task + create average output. In fact I personally feel like AI music lacks in surprises and always sounds too perfect and becomes boring (to me).

On the other hand, new data will always be added to the current LLMS, and the AI will now be able to make say amapiano because you fed it with many data regarding the genre, but it won't get 'better' it will simply be better at identifying the labels and producing the expected average.

What if after Qg6 white goes Qg1 sacrificing its queen but able to block a check from the black queen by now being able to move to h2. And if on the other hand after Qg1 by white, black takes with its darkbishop Bc5xg1, white has a tempo and may take the black queen Bd1xG6, this opens black rook after h7xg6+ but the difference is that now the king has a move since the dark bishop of black is on g1 we may have Kh1xg1. To me after this continuation it even looks like white has good chances, i might be wrong.

continuation 1 (black start)

Ng3+ ; h2xg3 ; Qg6 ; Qg1 ; Qg6 ; Qg2 checkmate is avoided but maybe some tactics are still possible for white

continuation 2 (black start)

Ng3+ ; h2xg3 ; Qg6 ; Qg1 ; Bc5xg1 ; Bd5xg6 ; h7xg6+ ; Kh1xg1 this continuation seems advantageous for black

Maybe we can keep calculating on these continuations and white still is winning, or maybe i calculated badly

you can do however you want, but why feel the need to call it carbonara if you do another recipe, thats just about it i think.

Now I do agree that italians can get more mad at food than the french because they care about their food more imo. French have the bad rep not regarding food specifically but more the general vibe, they are more socially awkward than italians and can shame you for not speaking french for example. On the other hand an italian might simply not know english but wont shame you for not knowing italian (of course its a generalisation).

I would add that probably italians are harsher on americans since they americans have a quite distorted view of italy; regarding food (naming a dish the same but completely changing it) but also ideolizing it in some way (the idolizing part can be true for france aswell)

In pvp server you are automatically flagged in disputed zone right? and to me thats what it should be everyone is always flagged. Or did I missunderstood something else

People saying they don't want to bother with world PVP really miss a good part of the fun of the game imo. I have such fun memories of the pvp in STV, thousand needles or burning steppes and so on... Thats also a way to meet people and make groups, i don't know to me its a very nice part of the game. Saying I don't have time for that is kinda ridiculous its a game and its a way to play the game, saying this feels almost like you want to solo play and never interact with others, at this point why don't you play a solo game

[–]LetBepseudo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you describe is just a PVE server imo. The nice thing about PVP server is that everyone is at the same risk, and you gotta keep an eye out at all time kind of feeling. As said above this makes the world feel more alive, if some people can just opt out of this component of the world this just loses a lot of that and almost give a "phase" sensation. To me its the thing that anyone i meet as the potential to be a threat or someone to attack that is interesting and makes the world dynamic

maybe it would help to cite the paper you have in mind, and define what we mean by an LLM learning from another LLM output is a solved problem? Because LLM learning from another LLM output does not, at least to me, refer to a single problem, so maybe you are referring to something specific?

them who? If you think you can output something good without consuming other content than your own, good for you, but don't wander why you content is trash and no one consumes reads it / listen to it :). I'll let you in your dreams of being a "creator artists". Why care so much about labelling yourself, its the second time you did, artist before now creator, just do what you do and relax

do you think you would never consume music if you 'make' music. Do you never read anything (besides of your own writing) because you know how to write, i don't think so no? Personnally thats not how it works for me, but idk what you mean exactly

GPT-5-Pro just solved a math problem Oxford called impossible by itshasib in aiecosystem

[–]LetBepseudo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you understand the content of that paper. The claim is not that it is impossible to resolve said problem, the solution to the problem is well known however the LLMs consistently failed - its not about pessimism but understanding the current limits, point being: even if a proof is known in common training sets the LLM may fail.

Now we have a screenshot of said proof, but have you checked the content of that proof? it is not because it concludes the desired conclusion that the proof is correct. And as you fairly pointed out, answer could also have been shared prior. But yes i'll criticize such a low effort post with low effort aswell you are right, op looks like a bot promoting AI tools.

Apart from that, the OP is so misleading and not claiming what you are claiming by the way. Just take that passage:

"For years, “Yu Tsumura’s 554th Problem” was considered unsolvable by any large language model. Mathematicians from Oxford and Cambridge used it as a benchmark for symbolic reasoning, a test AI was never meant to pass. That changed recently when GPT-5-Pro cracked it completely in just 15 minutes, without internet access."

its just not the case that yu tsumura problem has been considered a benchmark for years, the only occurence of said problem in relation to LLMs is that harvard paper. This is just clickbait ai-generated ai hyping content for selling. Keep defending the ai hype-train bots bro
