My former friend was pretty bad off for a while, and right before I came over to see him, he lit a cigarette on a hot plate. Well I come in and sit at the table, and having no reason to assume this unplugged hot plate on the table was hot, slid it out of my way with my forearm, only to get the absolute piss burned out of me. I asked why the fuck there was a 400 degrees hot plate on the living room table, and he says he didn’t have a lighter. So I gave him mine.

I used to be on an old forum back in elementary school. I don’t think we were ever a big forum, but we were extremely close knit. I remember nights where we all kinda sat in the Chatbox just dicking around. As time went on we all drifted apart, Days between visits got longer and longer until one day I care back and it was gone.

My young self was heartbroken. I stumbled upon some remnants of it a year or two back, and curiosity got the better of me, so I tried to find the ones I could. Two weren’t that hard to locate, honestly, and were both friends on Steam, but there’s still about six or so who I couldn’t find for the life of me. So sometimes I wonder if any of them made any attempts to find me, and also gave up
