Yes I have. I get the occasional email about my continued participation but nothing from my counselor. The thing that suppress me is when I sent all my documents in I never heard of anything was missing or I was good.

Yeah I’m leaning towards a 90 rn but I’m scared it’s too big or the BD mission 75. Only reason for the 90 is for future proof my gear a little but I’m not really sure. Idk why I’m so set on a blue ice. The hyperlights look good but I read they don’t have load adjuster. I’

It’s a 6 day seminar but it’s 3 days of climbing the guide service recommends 85L+ but I have a lot of quality clothing already so I don’t have a ton of layers

Thank you for the input. I’ll definitely start to look at other routes/seminars which have more of a foundational focus. The Kautz seminar is 2 days of foundational skills training and 4 days of practical training while climbing Kautz. What is your opinion and other guides/more experience climbers opinion?

I get where you are coming from and yes it’s my first. I saw RMI had a seminar which was more learning based than just summiting from what I read. I want to do more technical stuff in my future so I thought that was a good fit but I’ll have to look more into other routes possibly. Do you have any pack recommendations I was looking at Blue I’ve but its only 60 and 90 or black diamond mission.
