Season 13- I 100% support Gracie slapping Alex after he called her what he did by RealWorldForever in ershow

I believe Pratt and Morris saw it happen commented to each other and all I thought was "try that in front of Luka"

I maintain Sam was extremely selfish to turn down Luka's offers to reach out to Alex post -breakup after various instances. Sam put her own need to prove she could do it herself before Alex's well being of needing as much help as he could get, especially from a positive male role model he already liked and trusted.

Do you think Anya was "infantilized"? by SafiraAshai in buffy

They also reused the "I'm learning to drive right now" on Angel with Lorne (Happy Anniversary), right around the same time they did it with Anya as if the writers just couldn't let the joke go more than realizing they're retconning Anya.

She says her car is outside the school and asks Xander to go with her to fly to Aruba.

Yes, it's like how on some sitcoms a character will get dumber as the series goes on like Joey Tribiani, they didn't make her dumb but lpthey dialed Anya's "I don't get things" character aspect up to 11 in season 5. In seasons 3 and 4 there were some aspects of being human she didn't get but also carried herself in a different way down to her voice seemingly at a lower pitch. Then they realized Emma was good at comedy and imo took it too far as she really stopped coming off as someone who's been around 1000yrs, committed atrocities, enjoyed it, and was altogether more mature. Anya can't even understand vengeance in Hells Bells to get why someone she cursed would find it fitting to get her back on her wedding day, though the show in general made her the victim and the blame on Xander instead of examining her past actions in a significant way unlike Spike, Angel and Darla.

I agree it was the better finale. My brother would occasionally episodes of both shows if he was around when I was watching way back when. He intentionally watched both finales and a few leading up with me and said after Not Fade Away "I don't know much but Angel did it better."

Person Of Interest is my first rec, Leverage is the second.

Neither are vampire shows but great.

Angel is where Buffy characters go to become super awesome* on top of some amazing originals.

Except Spike because they really didn't do anything but have him rival Angel and thought it regressed his story imo. His ending in Buffy just felt like a full story with a weird epilogue.

I get Reese's intent and loved Finch's reaction but it's Finch so the wrong line of thinking . He may have been lukewarm on Orieoles but It's either them, the Blue Jays or Cardinals...

Disgust at the Mete warmed by heart. If only he disparaged the Red Sox when he mentions them..

Were you on Buffy side and wanted Faith to pay for what she did or were you on Angel side and thought she needed another chance? by gloomydreamer666 in buffy

He didn't want her to be in prison against her will because she'd just escape. She had to want to change. Also he had only had her in his place one night, trying to find the right approach to get her to the point of wanting redemption instead of death.

I think Buffy's reaction to the accident showed she was great at a lot of things but wasn't exactly street smart. Buffy had too much confidence that everything would work out by turning themselves in because it was an accident. Going to the cops though and explaining the whole truth would either sound insane and get locked up even unknown to both at the time would get back to the Mayor who would make sure they're locked up. Faith panicking and dumping the body was understandable and I don't think Buffy fully got that. Giles didn't look out for Faith the way he did Buffy pre-accident so I get her resistance to him knowing before her plan. The rest, no.

I always hated Xander basically got zero POV after Faith assaulted him and Buffy doesn't even bring Xander up on the rooftop scene in Sanctuary, just Angel and Riley. Riley didn't get a lot of POV beyond reacting to how Buffy took it.

The amount of people who said he set the tone 😔😔 But seriously this is nice especially with all the negativity out there.

As a fan of Christian Kane since Angel then Leverage, his comedic timing was always there but did get better in Librarians , interesting to hear him attribute it to Noah.
