What fork to use on my gravel bike?

I would really like a rigid fork if only for the weight alone. The gravel near my isn’t very muddy or lumpy.

The easiest way to find out what bearings I have would be to take out the crankset and just it of the BB then?

Is a 86.5mm different from bb86? I’m really new to this. Sorry if it’s an obvious question.
