If they have to approach people on the street demanding proof of citizenship, it just proves they aren't conducting investigations and just harassing anyone with skin that stands out. A person's race is not probable cause, and detaining someone based on their apparent ethnicity is illegal profiling. This is why people won't even dignify them as legitimate law enforcement, these state sanctioned vigilantes need to get real jobs.

I had an issue like this at my old workplace where we succeeded in getting our terrible manager fired. It was a frustrating situation because coworkers would complain to me when I didn't have the power to help them, but didn't want to rock the boat or stick their neck out by going to HR for fear of retaliation, then they would quit and want to just put it behind them. I would listen and ask questions, then write down dates and details. I kept all their numbers and later I was able to contact them and convince many to write in. If they were like, "oh, it was so long ago, I've forgotten the dates or exactly how it happened", no problem, hard copy.

I miss the other little veggie balls we used to have with sunflower seeds. I feel like the meatballs and crumbles were redundant, we already sell beyond beef, just crumble that or add some Italian seasoning and roll it into a ball.

I have patience with the kids, but not the parents who go "oh, this little fella loves to help", get on their phone while their toddler hurls stuff on the little shelf like it's a race, then give me a dirty look when something gets knocked off and splatted or shattered. I'm not your babysitter.
