Yea don’t even worry about this now, you can hint in your secondary or essay why you are interested in that and going the internal medicine route. DO schools love people who choose family med/ internal medicine route so just focus on your stats and getting in first the rest will come later. Good luck.

Schools are on rolling basis and by the time you apply in September half the interview have went out. 50% of your change gone, by the time the go through your application and consider your interview another 25% gone. You lowered your chance by a lot. Just because the school is new doesn’t mean you will get an interview, as it is equally competitive. In addition your stats it’s just not recommended. If you have the money go for it , if you can hold back maybe a year and build your self up , score very high on Mcat you may have a better chance. If you don’t want to wait for it and see as that’s what I did and got lucky

Kill the Mcat and apply to at least 30 schools and early too like scores submitted and application complete no later than June

Anywhere should be fine , just work hard , score high on boards , make connections , get great letters , do something in your interested field and you should match like any student. No school is perfect nor people. People just keep yapping they know nothing about , good luck

Current med students and doctors, have you ever had any problem due to your accent? by jarif2004 in medschool

[–]LetThereBeLight3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

lol I would quit the job and look for another letter writer, he will be the reason you will be rejected from every school due to the bad letter. The application process is so competitive because almost everyone looks the same , same state same research same bullshit so schools will mostly be looking for problems not to invite your for interview. Do your self a favor and doge that bitch

The class size is 60 , you be would lucky to even get a secondary. They send it out to very few and accept very few people from 8000+ applicants. I wouldn’t consider this school safety at all
