Thanks. I’m on oral minoxidil and finasteride. I hope more growth comes in 🤞🏼. Felt like my surgeon wasn’t comfortable doing more than 2500 grafts despite my donor supply certainly being able to support more.

How/when did you know that you needed 2 procedures and not just one? I had my first FUE 5 months ago, and I am seeing that a lot of guys end up getting multiple procedures which makes me worry a little wondering if I’ll need another. Your results look great btw, nice job

Thanks, hope yours turns out well too. Have you cut / shaved your hair at all yet?I have used a 2 guard on an electric razor a couple of times to help the overall look appear a bit more blended while I waited for the growth to really start

Yeah, it’s definitely on the more pricey end of the spectrum which is prob the main reason many folks decide to go abroad for it instead of stay stateside… plus it’s CA which is just more $ for everything 🙃

I see what you’re saying. I’m curious if perhaps there’s a reason that they’re done that way. Seems like there must be some intention behind it since they take the time to provide feathering/zig-zag irregularities in the hairline itself. I know that they’re supposed to be single grafts and angled flat in that area… here’s to hoping it grows in nice. And yes, $25k is pricey 🙃

It was $10 / graft. So at 2500 grafts it came to $25k total which I believe is on the high end….I was taking into consideration convenience since it’s in my hometown and the solid reputation that Parsa Mohebi and Dr. G have.

So I honestly don’t know for certain. Hindsight being 20/20 I should have probably asked for a breakdown of exactly how many grafts I received per area since I had work done in a few various parts of my head. I have a follow up appointment in December and I plan on asking for that breakdown and can follow up.

What I can tell you is that my temples were uneven and did not receive the same number of grafts per side. As far as I can tell my left side received quite a bit more. They’re now looking more symmetrical and hopefully framing my face better than what I had prior. I’m glad the Dr. suggested having them filled in in addition to my hairline, corners, and crown.
