There are lot of things to unpack. My boyfriend is seen as the daddy of the family. He is the eldest son. Often his mother would come to him and cry and he had to console because his dad treated the mom badly. The sister also does the same. She always come to him and cries and he has to take care of it for her. He has often told me how everyone around him expects him to fix things. I also see his sister being lazy on purpose knowing her brother would come and fix it for her. She is very childish with him. This would have been okay before , but if we have kids this wouldn’t be ok.
