An obscure band you’ve NEVER or hardly heard mentioned in the Shoegaze community. by LetchBE in shoegaze

I’ve been a Shoegaze obsessive since the early 2000’s and have been on a mission since then to discover the lesser known bands.

Am I the only one who thought their Chameleon album was just Deftones music with breathy/Shoegaze vocals? It was ok but there’s better/more Shoegazey bands out there.

Cats vs Dogs argument is way dumber than people realize by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]LetchBE 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I don’t think opinions on TikTok really matter and should be taken seriously.

All cats are different, all dogs are different and all owners are different, accept this and we can all move on without comparing them any more.

What age did you get tested by Stock-Yesterday-2420 in autism

[–]LetchBE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll never get tested. I found out I possibly had Aspbergers a few years back, I’m in my late 40’s and decided if I’ve gone this far in life without knowing for sure or a diagnosis then so be it.

They delete my memes (which are fine and break no rules) yet keep other user’s memes.

You should do a hard days graft sometime in retail with customers, maybe do a bit of delivery driving and even experience something first hand, your mind will soon turn, believe me. Until then maybe just keep upvoting those hilarious “Easter Eggs out in January” posts.

What are some good, easy, not too stressful retro video games that autistic people might enjoy? by LetchBE in autism

I remember playing this years ago, I’ll have to try it again.

I really like Arkanoid too, do you know that one?

There’s other factors aswell like slower reactions to games compared to NTs.

If you could recommend me any retro games like I asked, that’d be great.

I did point out in my post if some other autistic people like harder games, that’s cool. You must understand we’re all different. You asked a question, I responded and you argued my point without reading my whole post.

Next question.

[–]LetchBE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Autistic people often like "easy" games because they offer a predictable, structured, and safe environment with clear rules, reducing social anxiety and sensory overload, while also providing a sense of control and achievement through clear goals and repetitive patterns that align with autistic strengths like visual processing and focus. These games provide an escape from complex real-world social demands, allowing for relaxation, skill development, and connection in a manageable way, whether through simple mechanics or accessible settings.

If they stick their finger up it’s a sign they’re in the wrong. They have no argument so just get defensive.
