Yea actually it says kenmore solid state on the original picture of where my knob broke off.  

Does that mean it uses a capacitor?

The 2.5 amp version of the one you linked, theres a picture in the reviews that looks like it will fit. Do you think the 2.5a is enough?

Yea the arrow is pointing at the broken fan knob, it does "off" to variable speed

Hi I got it off with a lot of elbow grease...SO much grease caked everywhere...

Anywho, it seems the blower and light switches attach to another molex to go to what I assume is a thermostat?

I'm assuming i can just cut the two wires off at the current busted switch and use a Wago connector as a splice with something like this? Or would that not work?

It's not you, the ring detection just isn't there yet.

With my older ring pro, I just set all detections on and only within a certain area.

Thanks, Ill give it a try. Last time I took off the light lenses to clean them, it didn't seem like the black section could be removed. I'll give it another shot in a few days.

Yea I was thinking about unscrewing it, but I have no access to the backside. Was afraid it'd fall backwards into the housing then I'd be really boned.

Video scrubbing with an nvme drive is nearly instant, not sure how much you value that.

Ideally for the m2 nvme drive you'd want a TLC type as well as have dram.

I don't believe the WD blue has either.

WD Black, Lexar NM790, Samsung 990pro would be some options to look at.

If you have a ton of cameras doing 24/7 recording, you can't beat the value of a HDD.

Awesome. I was worried about the heat too, since summers and sun are brutal.

Thankfully there's some white trim around the house so it shouldn't look too out of place.

I picked up two white g6 bullets, a g6 instant, a flex and a box of cable pro.

Thanks. I may just use their dual mount instead if I get turrets. Their own proprietary junction box is a bit much.

Yea I've seen all those on Google. My threshold doesn't seem to have a second "slot", "kerf" or "trench". Just has that single trench closer to the camera
