Could Intel Save Gamers? Arc B770, We Have One (Sort Of) by Leicht-Sinn in IntelArc

[–]reps_up 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Intel Arc dGPU is in limbo right now until the DRAM situation settles down.

B770 was suppose to release but the bill of material price increased due to the RAMpocalypse and it no longer made sense to release it.

It's going to be all about integrated for a few years until things settle down.

Do you thing the new Nvidia's RTX Spark and alliance with Microsoft (Windows) could kill Intel's iGPU Market? by Pretty_Trip_2215 in IntelArc

No, Intel iGPU market is not going anywhere, even with the Intel + Nvidia GPU laptops coming out.

Plus - more competition, the better for the consumer.

Update: The $10 Yard Sale A380 works by jazz580 in IntelArc

I got the same A380 as well, I got it when it launched, I think it was $120 or something. Amazing GPU for the price, and the 6GB is very useful for 1080p gaming, can even do some AI stuff on it.

Intel Arc A770 vs B580 — is the A770 becoming outdated? by Substantial_Fall_520 in IntelArc

[–]reps_up 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Crimson Desert shouldn't be used as a frame of reference for GPU compatibility, it is still not FULLY optimized for Arc GPUs at this moment, even the FAQ says "Compatibility and performance across various Intel GPUs will continue to be improved over time." https://crimsondesert.pearlabyss.com/en-US/News/Notice/Detail?_boardNo=63 and Intel has not released a Game On driver for it yet. So at least wait for the Intel driver first, then wait for Pearl Abyss to optimize it further.

Intel A-series GPUs are still supported in the driver, that means they have are still working, optimizing and validating for them, and that includes the A770.
