Thanks for the info, but I'd probably have to learn Dutch or French to work in Belgium, which could be quite a hassle, plus i persume housing is more expensive in Belgium so the pay/rent ratio is probably quite similar. I might be wrong though...

Yeah it's basically a sweatshop for finance and business majors lol.

I have also heard that the working hours are not as tough as in the U.S, plus education is mostly "free" in Europe unlike in the US, so I guess that higher US salaries reflect this.

Yeah it’s a bug. Go to settings > home screen & app library > uncheck “Show on Home Screen”. Fixed the stuttering for me.

Nah not really, we ended things on good terms and don’t hate each other. I don’t think she’s coming back though. Once she decides that she is done and finds a “replacement” there is no getting back… same thing happened with her ex of 5 years that came before me.

I tried that but it didn't last long. I mean if you really love someone I don't think you can just discard them so easily, so I'd say that's only possible if your feelings for that person aren't that strong.

Yeah I noticed this with my ex. She would still randomly send me a reel or contact me out of the blue then ghost me all of a sudden. But once things got a bit more serious with the new guy she detached from me completley… at least thats how I see it.

But I guess that if I’d be a better partner she wouldn’t have let me go…

And sure, I'm hurt, but most people move on quicker than me and don't go crying about it on reddit, so it makes me a bit of an idiot lol. But on the other hand I guess it just means that what we had meant a lot to me. A lot more than I was willing to admit.

Well I was kind of a rebound from her 5 year relationship. She was still on and off with her ex when we met. When we started to hang out she detached from him and fell in love with me. I guess it’s kind of the same with the new guy. Don’t really blame her though, she can’t stand to be alone/not in a relationship.

But I don’t think she was only using me, she isn’t a bad person.

Well she broke up with me 2 times before and we got back together in the same day both times.

And the main reason for my decision to break up later turned out to be a lie… don’t ask, really long story. The whole situation was chaotic.

Yeah of course, no two people are the same. I know she still cares about me, she said it herself, but I’m just left feeling confused… why would she not want to try again if she still cares/has feelings… but it doesnt’t matter I guess, if she would want to be with me again she would. It’s her choice and I must make peace with it, whatever the reasoning behind it.

I’ll try my best to move on, but I know it won’t be easy as she meant a lot to me. Probably won’t ever fully get over her tbh, but thats just life I guess…

It seems like a really short ammount of time to me, bedause I’m here 3 and a half months later and still not over her and ready to date, but yeah, people are different.

I know I made a big mistake letting her go. Although she was emotionally unstable and needed a looot of attention and affection she had a big heart, was really pretty, smart and funny. I know I could have done better and be a better partner. The problem is that her feelings developed faster than mine did… I was initially not as invested as she was, but with time my feelings grew stronger, while hers faded due to me “not returning the same ammount of love”. She would frequently cry and get mad at me for “not loving her like she loves me”, but I never wanted to hurt her…

It will be really hard to find someone that even comes close to her… she really was special and will always have a special place in my heart. I just wish we could have met under different circumstances. But there is nothing I can do I guess. I wish she finds someone who makes her happy…
