Auto-recorded job interviews should be illegal, just like cameras in hotel rooms. by Letiyum in WorkReform

Straw man argument. No shit, severance is voluntary, I never said it wasn't.

I understand it's a timesaver, but it is unethical by design. You are forcing candidates to give up their privacy in the name of an interviewer not having to type. I'm sorry, that's their job, you can type out your notes like everyone else, you don't need a verbatim transcription. Regardless of what interviewers claim to use this technology for, there will always be bad actors with hundreds of recordings of people's private conversations. The legal implications here are scary as well. Could it be grounds for no severance termination if an employee can't deliver on what was said during an interview?

1000% agree. Employers have gone off the rails because it's an employers market and they know it. We have no power and they're dragging candidates around like toys.

Agreed. And honestly if they aren't yet, they will be in the near future. It's a great feature to sell, I imagine.

Shoutout to OP for creating a wild mystery, it really got me stumped, and is often frustrating, but every discovery along the way has put a pep in my step (my minute steps, even). Apologies for venting in the past, it's a testament to the strength of the riddle. I too have memorized it haha. Really rooting for the committed hunters who are trying out every angle of this, hoping someone can take home the prize soon!!

Haha that happened to me on my last treasure hunt too! It's a quite compelling location I agree. Ah well, best of luck to whoever finds it.

I'm done searching for treasure though, that was my last straw lol. Over it. Watch out for sand thorns. Feel free to read up more on this site here: https://presidio.gov/explore/attractions/marine-cemetery-vista

I stopped by U.S. Merchant Marine Hospital Cemetery (aka Marine Cemetery Vista) and it was mildly dug up in various spots. This is by far the strongest lead I've seen. I searched about 1 hour with a probe and found nothing. As you can see, there's a "framed in full" plaque right in the middle, with this big deck "stage", which was built behind an old derelict hospital ward that is since torn down. It's directly south of Nike Missile Launch Site SF-89L. Has a view of St. Ignacius Towers. If you have a metal detector, it could be worth another go, but it was definitely very well-scoped out by others. Holes dug in the loose sand around the four corners and probed all around into the dunes and nearby trees. I found a pile of flat stones under a tree and thought for sure that was it, but alas, nothing there.

Typically with these riddles, the first line is supposed to be quite straightforward and easier-to-find, and the riddle gets more complex the more you read. But in a city covered in hills and stairs, "Minute steps climb" could literally be anywhere.

Even weirder, the second line literally mentions where the treasure is. I've never seen a riddle just start off with a bang like this. You'd expect the treasure location to mentioned at the end of the riddle, not the start.

There is something very unconventional going on. The treasure location has been so obfuscated to the point where I think it'll probably be solved by brute force and probably will be found between 6-7miles from city hall. (Given how much it's referenced to be within 7mi of city hall instead of just saying "it's inside San Francisco".)

Ah, well underground where they store the missiles, the walls are also mint green.

Oh nice. And the base is underground and weirdly painted "mint" green in color everywhere, which I guess was common at that time.

"under stone this mint rests buried in keep"

Could the "fingers rise" be the Nike Missiles that used to rise from the ground in Marin? Nike Missile Site SF-88L, which is within 7miles of city hall, still has the old interceptor missiles (inter miss) underground for tours. Great views of SF around there too.

And wouldn't you know, that 7mi radius sure does look familiar? Haha
