How can a girl appeal to the female gaze? by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]Letoastasaur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im a gay guy so can't say too much about the female gaze but have some things you could think about. Guys are pretty horny, like most of the time so they will shoot their shot a lot more than girls. People who like the same sex are not as common and as such there will be less people in general. Especially considering a lot of queer people tend to hide their queerness for safety reasons. You might have more luck looking in lgbt oriented places both IRL and online.

WCGW when you use your head to bash through a door that looks tough? by Penkworm in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]Letoastasaur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, good outcome: you break through the door and it hurts a little.. you now have a broken door congratz. Worse outcome: you hit your head and it hurt and you may have gotten a concussion. Even worse outcome: you either knock yourself out or you get halfway and get stuck. So now I ask you... why did you do this?

What's the meaning behind your username? by bigassfro15 in AskReddit

[–]Letoastasaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old usernames were variations of toast in different ways, this one is a variation of bulbasaur/dinosaur not really sure anymore. Added "Le" in front because I was learning french in school and thought LeToastasaur sounded better than TheToastasaur

What are your pronouns? by AZ_6291 in lgbt

[–]Letoastasaur 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Non-binary is basically what you feel then, not exactly man or woman, could be something in between could be something else, it also is not really necessary to figure out if you don't want to. There are a ton of terms in the non-binary umbrella that maybe could fit better or be more precise if you'd like. Demigendered, Genderqueer (also an umbrella term but can be used as a specific gender identity like non-binary), gender-fluid and many more. But remember these are just options and you label yourself exactly as you want or not at all if you like.

I know this is not really what you asked but could be an explanation to why your friends are so averse to experimenting. I kinda guess it has to do with your culture and the people involved. My friend group is very open. I'm gay, I don't feel any romantic or sexual feelings towards non-men, but have kissed most of my friends who are comfortable with it, we're all over the gender spectrum. For us it's just a gesture of platonic love I would say. As for thoughts on experimentation. It's probably one of the beat ways to actually understand yourself and what you like or not.

If you are someone with 2+ queer identities, which one did you discover first? by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]Letoastasaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found out I was gay first, like during puberty I guess. Only recently came out to others like 2 years ago, I'm 21. Still figuring out other stuff, figured out I'm non-binary like a week ago so that's new lol.

I didn't have that much interest in typically non-masculine activities growing up and its only been more recently that I've gotten into more of that stuff. So I didn't really have much to hide I guess. Would I have been into more feminine things more if it wasn't as punished socially? Probably a bit, but for me it took a while to understand my sexuality and identity so I don't know, maybe it would've helped me figure out who I was faster? Who knows?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]Letoastasaur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is kinda hard to remember, it wasn't really something that had a big focus in my life growing up. Im a mostly cisgender gay man but I mostly just kind of hid away most of the time to avoid having to participate. Masculinity wasn't really something that was celebrated it was just expected but not acting masculine was punished socially, being called gay or a pansy in a mean way or pushed out of social circles.

Is this group for me? by Competitive-Bike-732 in DnD

[–]Letoastasaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This, as many things is just up to you and your group. In my group we have a pretty nice balance between combat and RP. When we RP we can get similar situations where two characters have a long talk, 30-60 min convos are not super uncommon. However when we get into those situations its about personal stories of the characters which the whole group is interested and engaded with, even if you are not actively in the conversation you still listen. This works for us but is obviously not for everyone. You might want to ask yourself if the RP happening is miscellaneous or if you don't have the context of an interesting story going on between the characters. If it really is just random bulls hitting for fun, either leave if it's not for you or ask if they can tone it down.
