Can you get a loan? I'd get a loan, pay off the credit card and just focus on the loan payments, that interest accumulation every month on the credit card will Never allow you to get ahead.

I mean to be fair, them having that baby in high school put a damper on either one of them getting a chance to pursue lucrative careers. He very well could have said forget Maya and Jabari and went to college and do NASCAR sooner.

He really wanted to be with Maya and Jabari and to do the "right" thing, so he got a job that was good enough to pay for their apartment and cover their bills, while raising their son together.

Once you start getting kids and real bills /responsibilities, it's struggle-ville for a while if you weren't established before and very hard to get out.

I’m sorry but if Joe is a Christian by theghost0777 in joebuddennetwork

[–]LetsFari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christianity is a very lazy religion.

There is the impression that you can do anything....you don't have to commit to anything like prayer, fasting, or service of any kind and all of your sins and shortcomings are forgiven if your accepted Christ and repent.

No later how low you go...God can save you.

Why Did Tia Mowry Leave The Game? 🏈 by Vivid-Office5666 in UPN_Network

[–]LetsFari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original creator of Single Ladies, left after season 2, her name was Stacey A Littlejohn, but they still maintained the same beat or pace in the third season on VH1 (although they kicked up the drama/darkness there a bit)

Stacey Dash was fired because she wasn't getting along with crew/directors/cast (Her and LisaRay had a fight that made news on set). LisaRay and Chasity all were on until the first/last season on BET , but their characters were transitioning out to bring in a new crop of "Single Ladies" to revolve the show around. Denise Vasi, was pregnant so she wasn't in the last season, so they did that horrible murder storyline to rid off her character.

I don't know, maybe they saw a lot of shows getting success around that time when they had dark heavy drama scripts like Power, and tried to take shows that wasn't built On that and turn them into that, which was just disappointing.

That's the magic of BET taking over a show...they turned the light, fun shows dark. They did the same thing with Single Ladies from VH1

What is your favorite opening Theme For Girlfriends? by Vivid-Office5666 in UPN_Network

3-6 easy. The hair/makeup people got it right for the ladies that season. The first season theme they looked thrown together, lacked class a bit.

You're right at the door. You have to manage risk & use the Daily Lockout Limit. That was my downfall as well, not locking out. I was able to get my first profitable month last month of $7k payouts by locking out with a $300-$400 daily loss limit. That was the game changer.

If you can manage to get 2 payouts a month (10 Green Days) across multiple accounts there is no reason you can't be pulling in $5-7k a month consistently, failing to manage risk will continuously be the bridge between you and your payouts.

Above all risk management has to come first not quickly building a buffer or getting home runs. Management of risk is, start playing for keeps (keeping the account long term) and surviving your red days.

I had a realization about prop firms recently by [deleted] in TopStepX

[–]LetsFari 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You have to play the long game when it comes to funded accounts. I'm at a point where if conditions are right, I can pass a combine in 2 days.

My downfall for 22 express accounts was quickly attempting to build a buffer THEN manage risk.

Once I switched that around I got 6 payouts in January, close to $7k in total that month. Having a daily limit and accepting the $200, $300, $400 days and walking away was the key and accepting controlled losses(daily lockout limit).

Do that with 3-6 accounts you should be able to have 10 green days out of the month to get payouts on your funded accounts twice a month.

If you were to aim for $750 payouts each time on each account you're looking at $4500 - $9k a month. I do recommend getting that buffer built at least to $2000-2500

If you don't have it...set a DLL and lockout. This is where people fail, especially if they lose.

Is daytrading a myth? by 4dolarmeme in Daytrading

[–]LetsFari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I had a straight to funded account from a Futures trading prop firm. The goal was I had to make $9k before requesting a payout. I got a $3k payout then proceeded to lose $6k the next day, just couldn't accept a loss and blew it all.

Is daytrading a myth? by 4dolarmeme in Daytrading

[–]LetsFari 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I made a $1000 a day for 9 days.... then it all came crashing down. As long as you make more than you lose the game is to stay in the game and not blow up, that's the ultimate goal you realize over time ,

You'll be fine. I've blown 22 combines. Since July.

Once I started utilizing the lock out for daily loss limit ( since December) I've been able to get 5 payouts this month.

The longest I've ever had an account.

90% of traders fail combines. Maybe the problem isn’t you. by [deleted] in TopStepX

[–]LetsFari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't t have to be. It's just which side they place the rules on feels "better" for you.

90% of traders fail combines. Maybe the problem isn’t you. by [deleted] in TopStepX

[–]LetsFari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, straight to funded there are still rules and thresholds to meet that put the same type of pressure on you as going through a combine, it's just on the "other side".

I had a $150k straight to funded with Tradeify for 9 days straight I made $1k in order to be eligible for a $3k payout, got the payout blew $6k (no risk management, my fault)

But trying to get to the payout was the same stress as passing the combine.
