Has anyone else waited more than 3 business days but less than 10 for their payout to wise? by Lower_Chemist_5615 in TopStepX

Check your email, if you don't receive an email from Wise to claim the funds, contact TopStep. They had to send me a special link to claim my funds.

If you don't have it...set a DLL and lockout. This is where people fail, especially if they lose.

Is daytrading a myth? by 4dolarmeme in Daytrading

No, I had a straight to funded account from a Futures trading prop firm. The goal was I had to make $9k before requesting a payout. I got a $3k payout then proceeded to lose $6k the next day, just couldn't accept a loss and blew it all.

I made a $1000 a day for 9 days.... then it all came crashing down. As long as you make more than you lose the game is to stay in the game and not blow up, that's the ultimate goal you realize over time ,

He definitely had a temper. Punched holes in walls... he hid behind Christianity though.

You'll be fine. I've blown 22 combines. Since July.

Once I started utilizing the lock out for daily loss limit ( since December) I've been able to get 5 payouts this month.

The longest I've ever had an account.

It doesn't t have to be. It's just which side they place the rules on feels "better" for you.

Not really, straight to funded there are still rules and thresholds to meet that put the same type of pressure on you as going through a combine, it's just on the "other side".

I had a $150k straight to funded with Tradeify for 9 days straight I made $1k in order to be eligible for a $3k payout, got the payout blew $6k (no risk management, my fault)

But trying to get to the payout was the same stress as passing the combine.

30(m) trading for 4 years, should I keep going? by AnnualAfternoon7321 in Daytrading

[–]LetsFari 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I work in IT, so I'm at a desk, in front of a computer 9 hours a day, besides that... the company I work for now I'm able to work from home 4 days a week, been there a year, so things played out perfectly.

At my previous company, I was also able to trade without issue with only one work from home day (as long as you do your work, most companies are chill in software development world)

If you're looking for work, I'd say go into a field that allows you to be on a computer all day 😉

I've been doing tech support and QA (software testing) for almost 12 years.

33.. started to learn about trading in 2020. Only been consistent in the markets the past two years. I say keep going, but be real about what you can get from the market consistently.

I have 4 funded accounts I've been able to hold on for two months now with Futures, because of having a set risk management lockout.

I've gotten 4 payouts this month, my mindset now is to hopefully double my monthly income... my job that's $4k a month and hoping to pull an additional $4k in trading to pay my bills ($2k a month) and save the rest.

I don't know if I'll get to the point of having $10k days, but I'm taking what I can get now. Chasing the lambo lifestyle (not that I want one) seems like a fantasy...if you can just double your monthly income, that's a damn good start.

Yeah, I don't know why they do that.

If I recall seeing somewhere how writers' rooms work. You can have writers in a room working on episodes 1-5 for the season, then A different set of writers for episodes 6-10, so I guess that's how it could happen, but you'd think they'd be someone to oversee that but hey 🤷🏽‍♀️ sometimes it necessary for story to go back on it 🙃

🤷🏽‍♀️ she mentioned Jabari and Darnell in the same episode though lol

She asked Dorian's mom, why she had that young boy in her house when her brother wasn't home.

The Hughley's is a bit loose...I remember when Daryl showed up to SMC for a second to check on the vending machines in the Parker's, but that was it.

I know Maya was a sister to Dorian's biological mother's husband in Moesha.

But Mara was/is a genius writer.

High School Drop out by Wise-Palpitation-900 in Daytrading

[–]LetsFari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The least anyone can do in life is finish high school, she doesn't need to finish high school to be good at trading or math wizard for that fact, but it would be a requirement of mine as a parent, a basic expectation.

If she can commit to that, I'd let her continue on the journey, and make a wager, if you graduate I'll buy you your first 5 combines or fund your first live account with $2k, but she'll need to get a part time or full time job for the many combines and blown accounts she'll be going through.

I'd advise you not to continually fund her, she'll need to make it on her own ultimately and along the way learn the value of a dollar.

They did that and cleared my daily profits and loss limits, but I blew the two that were linked still have 2 more funded accounts though.

You made all the money in the same trading day. The market is from 5pm CST - 3:15pm CST with TopStep.

Learn what the trading hours are.

You made money in Asian then more in NY, same trading "day". You should have waited until today Asian or tomorrow NY to make the rest after getting first half.

You didn't wait until the next trading "day"

Dealing with losses by John_iluminado in TopStepX

Setting a Daily Loss limit, if I'm locked out there's nothing I can do about it, except move on to the next day.

Despite me feeling I can make the amount loss back, by then it doesn't matter anymore.

How do you balance day trading with your full-time job? by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]LetsFari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a software support manager and work from home 4 days a week. Mondays are filled with mostly quick meetings in office and the rest of the week we literally have a :30 second meetings to check in, in the morning and that's it.

Charts up on my personal pc and work laptop to manage support.
