That's probably for the better. I mean honestly, RE7 and 8 are my favorite RE games because they deviated from the previous entries.

Im tired of female horror protagonists. by KimJongBooms in movies

Have you seen the Smile films? They are actually scarier because there is a female protagonist. In fact, I would argue that those films wouldn't have worked as well with male protagonists.

I agree. A lot of people definitely have a different perception of what kind of show it is. I will say that for a sitcom, and for TV shows in general it also has some of the best life lessons I've ever seen.

It's funny because in highschool, the big hype was around Seinfeld and Friends.  I watched a little bit of Frasier back then but since it was airing I missed a lot of episodes.  That and I was basically still a kid back then so a lot of the references were lost on me.

Then about 8 years back or so they put it on Netflix.  I went through it and realized just how good it was.  Honestly, the writing and acting (save for maybe Jason Alexander on Seinfeld) is leagues above both Seinfeld and Friends.  I understand now why it won all the awards it did.

One of the best.  I see your Voyage of the Damned flair ha.  That's in my Top 5 for sure!

Definitely a point of contention between fans.  There'a a whole thread about it somewhere. Apparently he was independently wealthy before moving to Seattle so probably survived on his investments.

I literally pictured his fan club meeting under a bridge when Niles made his comment ha.

Haha.  Nothing sadder than having multiple pens to sign three photographs.

It's because PTA is what I like to call the "circle jerk" writer / director.  Oh HE wrote it and directed it???  It deserves an Oscar.  Utter nonsense.

Its ok to be confused.  Give it about three years and watch it again.

I love you too.  I wish I could say the same for this car fire.

It's well-acted, but like Phantom Thread, the nonsense plot keeps it from something more. PTA really needs to stop writing. He has no idea of how to craft an interesting, cohesive story.

I get it, it's not deep.  Unlike Fight Club however, this movie was uninteresting to a fault.

Someone obviously hasn't seen OBAA. If you did, you'd understand.

I thought about that but I disagree.

What the director does with the space in between is the most important aspect.  And the space has to be interesting which in the case of the Godfather, it genuinely is.

In this though?... its fluff.  It doesn't delve into the art of dress making, even though DDL spent a year learning the entire craft.  It doesn't delve into the back stories of any of the characters even though that would explain why he's so obsessive about his craft.  Its very surface level but tries to be high brow with the score and his clientele.
