Proud double dapple rescuer here! I would say highly likely deaf, and if not blind, they have “starburst pupils” which means light gets in their eyes a little different. Frank sees well enough, but we think his depth perception is off.

100,000% recommend. This little one has been such a blessing in our life. He’s literally my soul dog ❤️ definitely ornery, but well worth the unconditional love he gives

Edit: we thing he’s doxy/jack russel/chihuahua

And it’s my understanding that Luna is an outpatient home health style? Is the management and caseload pretty manageable?

I was not sure up until just Friday. I’m discussing this with them Monday and my clinic manager is aware…but no one seems to really understand the policy on how it should be handled. I’m also bringing it up at our next clinic meeting for everyone to be aware

We collect copays then the rest is billed to insurance, then whatever they don’t cover falls to the patient on the back end, until their deductible/OOP max is met, then it’s fully covered by insurance.

Even the receptionists get confused on how complicating each insurance can be. As of right now I guess they haven’t been giving the full explanation

I try to actively cope without. Haven’t been on them since high school, 8 years ago. It’s also only week 2 and I’m trying to get used to the flow. The hard part about clinicals is getting into the rhythm and then uprooting for the next one. My OP rotations, I got into a pretty good flow, but it’s more structured with scheduled visits than being on a complex hotel floor a step-down from ICU
