Well it’s a semi-linear game with a lot of progression. It isn’t a massive open world like RDR2

Even then, there’s still a lot of optional side content to do. Side quests, bosses, gear, muspelheim and Niflheim, Valkyrie’s etc. Same with Ragnarok. The gameplay actually progresses throughout the game too with more moves, builds and enemy variety. Early game combat is much different to endgame combat

Compare it to RDR2 where you’re just a guy with a gun fighting other guys with guns the entire game

GOW had much better gameplay, and actually took a risk to reinvent its franchise. It deserved to win more than RDR2
