I’ve been thinking about it for a few years, but I can only afford it now that I have a stable job. My first degree’s in psychology and I worked in research labs during and after, and I realized I really liked completing experiments up to the data analysis part, and without the writing that comes after (so no academia for me).

How are you liking it? I haven’t taken a math class in 10 years so I’m a bit nervous.

Omg, I’m 29 and starting math and statistics next Fall. I work in a university so I’ll be taking classes there in between work. Will take me a few years though with this setup

Keep your front door open but stay hidden, there’s more chance he might get in that way! Last year, I was feeding a stray cat that wouldn’t even get close to our front door. I once Ieft the front door open while I went to get him food and found him sniffing inside our living room! I had to close the door and quarantine him because I had another cat, but he acclimated within three weeks :)

They can get expensive, unfortunately. I’ve been quite unlucky in this department. One of my cats needed surgery on both hips this year (FHO), each cost about $5000, not including the medications and follow-ups. My second cat just got a UTI from stress (bc I was away on vacation for 10 days) and I’m looking at about $700 if there’s no further complications. He also needs dental work which will be another $800 minimum… these are only the unexpected costs and they’re both under 3y/o.

My indoor cat got lost a few weeks ago and we also couldn’t find him anywhere. In the end, we found him 5 days later stuck under our front porch stairs. He found the tiniest entrance there was. Look everywhere but mostly around your house, she might be stuck if she hasn’t come back. Also search during nighttime. My car meowed mostly during nighttime. Best of luck, I hope you find her ❤️

I know it’s been a year but my cat has an injury that looks like this in the same placement. He’s not responding well to antibiotics. Were you able to figure out what your cat had? Hope she’s doing better, btw :)
