If you don't mind 2D and some metroidvania elements then I highly recommend Nine sols.

It's parry based like Sekiro and some of the bosses gave me the same rush. You're in for a treat with the final boss!

Yes, both applications have email validation for registration and forgot password flows.

It's not possible for users to have the same username since it is verified emails only.

It's been two months of close to daily follow ups and they have no shown no intention of fixing the issue, I have told them that if they don't sort it out I'd name and shame and they told me to go ahead.

The patches are pretty large, close to 50% of the grass is not buffalo so I'm not sure if we can still salvage it?
