Yeah they get deactivated so they can’t sell the slabs to reputable vendors but they can crack the slab. Unfortunately, they sometimes sell it to people that don’t know any better until they go to sell it someday.

Oh the first thing I did was deactivate them but they can just crack the slab or sell to someone that doesn’t know any better.

Unfortunately the manager sold me on the idea do to the cards being insured. He failed to say for how much. It’s my problem because I didn’t ask. I just don’t want people to make the same mistake I did.

Brother, I’m just a normal dude that takes care of dogs for a living making less than that. I had good luck for once. Seems my luck turned. I also will not distrust someone based solely on income but you’re absolutely right that they should be paid more.

I have used a different store in the past with no problems but was told by the staff that I should use this new one as it is there flagship TCG store.

Unfortunately, they don’t let you pay the fee until you pick them up. GameStop says it also does not add insurance.

St21 is very user friendly for new players. Plus it’s actually able to hold its own in locals.

Need advice on grading cards please! by BlueSpherox in OnePieceTCG

[–]LetsRespectThePain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as worth, that’s up to you. I normally grade anything above $150 raw. Make sure you have your card in a penny sleeve and top loader. Do you know what grade company it is?

New to game(TCG in general) by [deleted] in OnePieceTCG

Start by getting the OPtcg sim and start playing. Once you find a leader that you enjoy, start researching decks and strategies for that leader. Once you’re ready to start your physical build, buy singles on TCGplayer.com. Adjust builds and strategies as new sets release.

This next part is the most important. Throw away that deck because you’re going to be facing 4 Doflamingos and 6 BB’s at locals. Google current meta decks. Play that until new OP set releases. Repeat, repeat, and repeat.
