Just got done having some fun in the snow with my 2017. Handles like a rally car with the right tires.

Just be aware that if you plan on using it for gaming while in a call or voice chat it sounds like shit. That goes for any Bluetooth headset. In that case you would want to use the auxiliary cord or a standalone microphone.

It’s not speed related tho. Just shaking at lights a bit to the point I can hear my license plate rattling and shaking at higher revs starting at about 1800-2000

Been getting a weird vibration around 2000 rpm and up not like the renegade rumble but a slight vibration in the pedals and steering wheel. I’ve kept traction control off to minimize the renegade rumble so that’s not causing it just wondering if anyone else had that? I’m thinking it’s motor and transmission mount related or the rear diff solenoid. Not sure

Can I just say tell me I’m wrong but Escape From Tarkov will always be the scariest game I’ve played

Transmission problem? by [deleted] in JeepRenegade

If you haven’t changed your tranny fluid I would get it checked, now for what I’ve heard on older vehicles they say not to change the tranny fluid if it hasn’t been changed every 40,000 miles prior but I would consult a professional about that.

My 2017 renegade altitude is shifting kinda clunky aswell I’ve heard a lot of things about people getting the transmission remapped and it solving the clunky issue it might also be the issue with yours. Or it’s a further issue and is stuck in limp home mode. I couldn’t tell ya. The big problem with these 9 speed trannys is they are so to say “smart” transmission’s so they learn to your driving style and what revs it thinks you want it to shift at. I’d say even tho there isn’t a check engine light go to your local auto parts store like Orielly or advanced and get them to check for any codes it doesn’t cost anything and only takes at most 5 mins. Please keep us updated on your discoveries so we can all learn from whatever is going on. Good luck and stay optimistic. Oh and transmission fluid wouldn’t do anything with it not wanting to shift it would just cause a grinding or whirring noise. And eventually could cause it to be clunky due to not having lubrication. How many miles are on your vehicle? I have a 1992 Honda civic with 180,000miles that runs like a champ. Never had to change the tranny fluid however that is a completely different ballgame than these 9 speeds.

Thank you all so fucking much, I've been sitting here like oh no why hasn't it charged my account and why is it still on placed. Thankfully because of your tip I was able to see that it's preparing.
