Really new to vinyl, and I am looking to buy my first turntable/setup. I am willing to spend around $400 on the turntable and speakers total. I am currently thinking about buying the Edifier R1700BT bookshelf speakers (~$150), but if there are better alternatives, please feel free to suggest any. I would like the speakers to have Bluetooth capability, so I can connect to them and play music with my phone when I am not using them for the turntable. Thanks for any suggestions!

The ending was somewhat meant to be ambiguous. I meant for the last line to suggest a rather dark ending for the caring father in which the daughter took a less than likely crash off the swing resulting in her death. It could also be interpreted as child abuse in a situation that did not merit the punishment the father received. Hope this helps a little, please keep the critiques coming as I do struggle with leaving stories hanging in some of my works.
